Knitting together the urban fabric
On a brownfield site surrounded by C20 housing, the aim was to create an integrated yet independent housing scheme. By fronting neighbouring streets, replacing the former dairy with more a compatible use, and including features such as a pocket park on Station Road, the development knits together the urban fabric of this part of Portsmouth.
We gained reserved matters consent before preparing the working drawings for construction, working closely with Dandara’s in-house delivery team.

The project comprises a mix of houses and apartments that are simple in form, with the main junctions and spaces reinforced by bold contemporary corners.
